What the Nepal application actually asks for

• ⚠ For a Nepali ePassport you do NOT bring a photograph. The Department of Passports answers this directly: staff photograph you during live enrollment at the enrollment centre, so an applicant does not need to carry one. Any guide telling you to bring two prints is describing the older machine-readable workflow, not the current ePassport process.
• The exception is a child under five. The Department states that a photograph IS required for children too young to sit still for the live capture, so that is the one case where preparing a print is the right thing to do.
• Because the photograph is normally taken for you, what matters at the centre is your appearance rather than a file: the enrollment photo is the one that goes in the passport. A tool like this is useful for the under-five exception or for checking framing before you go.
• The 35x45mm figures recorded here come from published guides rather than a Department page stating them, and are marked as needing confirmation. Confirm against the enrollment centre or mission handling your application.
• No digital KB or pixel limit is displayed because the ordinary ePassport route captures the image at enrollment. Inventing an upload cap for a process with no applicant upload would turn a compatibility tool into a false application step.
• For the under-five exception, ask the enrollment centre or mission whether it wants a print and what current dimensions apply before producing copies. The Department source confirms the exception but does not establish every numeric field recorded from secondary guides here.
