- This route serves online renewals. A first-time application inside Pakistan captures the photograph and biometrics at the office instead, so a prepared file is not what that process needs at all.
- 350 x 467 pixels is close to the 3:4 proportion rather than the 35:45 of a standard passport print, so a passport crop needs re-framing rather than resizing. Crop to the stated pixel shape from your original.
- Three megabytes is a ceiling, not a target quality level. Keep a clear JPEG below it; adding metadata or reducing compression merely to approach the maximum does not improve the 350 x 467 canvas that the online route records.
- The online-renewal source and the in-country live-capture process answer different questions. Confirm that you are eligible for the e-services route before preparing the file, and do not present its pixel rule as a first-time office application requirement.
