Adding a name and date strip without breaking the photo
Several Indian recruitment boards ask for the candidate's name and the date of capture printed beneath the photograph, most often in black text on a white strip. The requirement is specific to the notification you are applying under, and boards differ on wording, date format and whether the strip counts inside the stated photo dimensions. Take the format from your own notice rather than assuming the pattern from another exam.
The common rejections are mechanical. Text that overlaps the face, a strip so short the date is cut off, a date that does not match when the photograph was actually taken, or a merged image that now exceeds the KB limit the form allows. Add the strip below the frame rather than over it, keep the typeface plain, and re-check the file size afterwards — adding text can push a photo past a tight upload cap.
