Application-specific notes for CUET
- The photograph you upload is also pasted on the attendance sheet at the centre, so the file you submit needs a printed twin. Preparing one image and printing that same image is the point; a different photograph taken later will not match.
- Both files are JPG or JPEG and the bands differ: the photograph between 10 and 200 KB, the signature between 10 and 50 KB, and both must be clearly legible rather than merely inside the limit.
- File size alone does not prove legibility. Inspect the exported signature at its actual dimensions; if strokes have broken up, export again at a larger size within the published 10 to 50 KB band.
- The CUET bulletin publishes no fixed pixel width or height for either asset. Preserve the portrait crop and handwritten signature proportions instead of forcing a canvas borrowed from CTET, banking recruitment or another NTA examination.
- The photo instruction asks for about 80 percent face coverage on white. That composition check happens before compression: crop from the original, inspect the face and background, and only then bring the JPG or JPEG inside the 10 to 200 KB band.
- A live photograph is captured during the application in addition to the prepared upload. The compatibility tool prepares the file only; it cannot perform, replace or validate the capture requested inside the CUET registration session.
