KPSC (Karnataka PSC) Photo & Signature Size

KPSC UDYOGA registration upload. The current applicant manual specifies a JPEG photograph of 50-200 KB and a JPEG signature of 50-70 KB. It publishes no pixel dimensions, aspect ratio, DPI, ink or name/date rule, so the preset applies none.

Application-specific notes for KPSC

  • KPSC sets the photograph at 50 KB to 200 KB and the signature at 50 KB to 70 KB, both JPEG. A signature below the 50 KB floor is outside this preset even if another application accepted that file.
  • The 50 to 70 KB signature window is only 20 KB wide. Export once, check the size, then adjust image quality first; if dimensions must change, preserve the aspect ratio so the signature strokes are not stretched.
  • The current UDYOGA manual does not publish a square photograph, fixed signature canvas, DPI value, ink colour or name-and-date strip. Those absent fields are intentional in this preset: adding geometry from an older vendor page would turn an unsupported convention into a displayed requirement.
  • Photograph and signature are added during personal-information registration as separate JPEG assets. Check the encoded format rather than the filename alone — renaming a PNG to end in .jpeg does not change the bytes that the registration form receives.
  • Keep the uncompressed photograph and signature alongside the exports. Because the manual supplies byte bands but no geometry, a future UDYOGA screen can add a canvas rule that requires a fresh crop rather than another round of compression.

About this exam

KPSC's current UDYOGA applicant manual documents separate photograph and signature file uploads during personal-information registration. The first-party manual supports the JPEG file-size bands but gives no pixel geometry; the former square photo and signature targets came only from a vendor-hosted registration page and have been removed.
